Ad Hoc’s house-made Hoc Sauce is our take on a traditional hot sauce and pairs perfectly with our famous buttermilk fried chicken. The Hoc Sauce is a combination of distilled white vinegar, garlic, jalapeno pepper, salt and serrano pepper. Its star ingredient is the aji dulce pepper, a more fruit-forward heat, and is grown exclusively in The French Laundry’s culinary garden located in Yountville, California. The Hoc Rub combines dark brown sugar, kosher salt, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper and ground all spice – the perfect blend for ribs or chicken on the barbecue.
