Description
Created in 1993 by Master Sommelier Guy Vialis, this stainless steel Chateau Laguiole® Classic wine opener was the first of its kind on the market. This waiter-style corkscrew is the preferred wine opener at Chef Thomas Keller's casual dining restaurants. Not only is the corkscrew made in France, but its companion leather sheath was designed by Max Capdebarthes, a master leather craftsman, located in the 12th-century village of Sauveterre de Rouergue in the southwest of France. Each of the wine openers is etched with either the Bouchon beachball, the Ad Hoc pig or The Surf Club Restaurant's wave.
